After making my first pattern, I decided to venture off of the pattern trail and give a tutorial a try. I wanted a cute wallet with a fun lining and I couldn’t find a pattern I liked so, yay for the internet!
For this wallet I pulled and mixed and matched from my little collection. It’s made up of a thick yellow herringbone upholstery fabric on the outside and a super fun green floral and multi-colored stripes on the inside.
The zipper pocket wasn’t as tricky as I thought it would be, I think it turned out pretty cute!
I LOVE this wallet, even though I made a few mistakes along the way and the front is ever-so-slightly crooked. My husband says it looks like it’s supposed to be angled that way so I’ll pretend I meant it to look a little Alice in Wonderland. Voila.
PS You can find the tutorial I used, here.
